Junbug - the anime tattooist

As our second featured artist of the month, we are proud to introduce, Junbug. As an artist at Tattoo People who specializes in tattooing anime works, he looks forward to sharing his passion with you in a short interview below!

Q. What is the inspiration behind your style?

"As far back as I can remember, I have always dreamed of becoming a manga artist or an animator. Growing up with comic books and television cartoons was an immense part of my teenage and childhood, and they are still a very much a big part of my life today. Therefore, when I got the chance to become a tattoo artist, there was nothing else than anime and manga that I wanted to pursue as my primary genre for tattoos."

Q. What are some of the specific works you want to tattoo?

"I have been eager to try these digital glitch-esque flashes I have been making! Especially Gengar and Mob Psycho 100!"

Q. What do you love most about being a tattoo artist?

"I love that I can help people relive their favourite memories through tattoos. Whether it is their favourite manga scene or a sentimental symbol, I love hearing and sharing stories with my clients while building something special together."
